No wonder she's been drooling.
Jul. 23rd, 2004 01:37 amI just realized today why Iams decided to change the shape of their cat food a couple of months ago to larger, rounder forms that don't flow through my cat's tower feeder right.
It's dog food.
The bag is the same color and size as before, and it was on the same shelf. There are no animal pictures of any kind on the front, and it still has the big letters "Active Maturity" on the label. And then below it, in 16-point type, is the only appearance of the words "Dog Food" on the entire front label.
It goes a long way towards explaining why my little lady has made a habit of digging scoops of it onto the kitchen floor. I doubt it tastes like what she's used to. I feel bad for her. I know what I'm getting next time I go grocery shopping.
