The ironic conclusion

Well, I finally got hold of my co-worker (who I will call "Jill" for simplicity). She recalls our arrangement differently. According to her, she told me her boyfriend was taking her to Disneyland for a romantic weekend and she was going to be out of touch until Monday, so I should simply leave keys and instructions in her mailbox and she'd pick them up then. I remember mention of Disneyland, but I also remember saying I wasn't leaving until Monday night and would prefer personally meeting with her anyway due to the extended nature of the trip.

*sigh*
