Success! We now have a working lawnmower.

The fuel line is new, thanks to a quick trip to the corner auto parts store. I didn't do anything to the carburetor except clean it. It could still use a new gasket, but the one it has actually seals now that it's flush against metal and not rust. All in all, I am no longer leaking the precious juice.

I had to scavenge the throttle and a random mounting screw from the other mower. Its own was truly and inexplicably missing.

Now all I need is enough rain-free days in a row that the back yard contains foot-high grass instead of foot-high wet grass.
