service with a...something...
Tuesday the 21st I awakened to the discovery that I had barely any water pressure. I could fill a cup in a minute or two if I wanted a drink, but a shower was out of the question. It wasn't a matter of missing a bill, since water is a part of my rent. Understandibly, I called the problem in to maintenance. They'd gotten no other reports of missing water, so they said, but they took my number and said they'd send someone to look into it. After about three hours of me sitting at home and not going to work, I hear the tromp of footsteps up the stairs to the apartment above me, followed a minute later by the sound of a shower starting. I check my sink and, sure enough, the water is back. Another minute of waiting satisfies me that no one is coming to knock on my door, so I shower as quickly as I can and race off to work, noting the plumbing truck parked by the main office.
About 2:00 in the afternoon today, one full week later, a pair of maintenance guys came buy to check on a report of low water pressure. Gee, guys. Nice try.
