I dropped in to stay a bit with Shaterri. It was an old-school geek-out weekend. When we weren't playing with his new GameCube, we dropped in at the "California Extreme 2002" classic arcade game convention going on downtown that weekend. (Heh. "Extreme Pong[TM]"?)

I drove the last few miles home with one eye glued to the odometer. My trusty old Honda clicked over to 100,000 miles mere blocks away from my apartment and spent the night on that number. Amazing cars, those Hondas. I've mistreated this thing worse than a faithful wife and the only non-scheduled work its needed in ten-plus years was a new distributor.
